eDevice Participates to the First Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Interoperability Testing Event of the ETSI M2M Architecture

ETSI Centre for Testing and Interoperability (CTI) has organized the 1st Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Interoperability Testing Event of the ETSI M2M architecture. The event will take place from 10 to 12 September 2014 in ETSI, Sophia Antipolis (FR).

eDevice is invited to the event as a “provider of ETSI compliant agent”, in order to test the agent/client interoperability of our ETSI compliant servers.

“More and more companies implement the ETSI M2M architecture but there is no real possibility to insure their understanding of the standards is correct. The lack of tests available prevents from being confident to go to the mass market.

This Interoperability event offers test sessions where vendors can assess the level of interoperability of their implementations and verify the correct interpretation of ETSI M2M standards.

The purpose of this event is to verify the M2M primitives interoperability as defined in the ETSI standards and to check end-to-end functionality on ETSI M2M interfaces. Participants will have the possibility to verify the common mechanisms (registration, subscription, discovery, access rights, etc …) specified in the standard, whatever M2M use cases is deployed for the implementations.

This activity is supported by the European Commission.”
