Results of a recent study¹ have proven the TwoCan Pulse™ telecardiology solution’s ability to detect high risk congestive heart failure and reduce unplanned hospitalizations.
This study looked at patients who adhered to taking daily measurements over 75% of the time and were not suffering from a short life expectancy or supraventricular arrhythmias.
Findings
TwoCan Pulse™ is successful in using recorded weight gain changes and/or a heart rate increase to detect patients at risk of cardiac destabilization. In all cases of high risk congestive heart failure, TwoCan Pulse™ correctly identified it.*
*Some false positives occurred due to incorrect measurements, COVID-19, and supraventricular arrhythmia.
